Cartwright

Attorney

Brandon Cartwright is an attorney at Ellis Porter, where he focuses on high-skilled immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, including EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW), and O-1 petitions. He works primarily with researchers and scientists, taking time to understand each client’s goals and circumstances before building a strategy that fits both their ambitions and the immigration process. Brandon aims to make complex rules feel clear and manageable, and he stays responsive so clients understand what is happening throughout their case.

He is drawn to immigration work because it gives him an opportunity to support people whose research advances knowledge and understanding. He values a strategy that reflects a client’s real-world goals, not simply the law on paper. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys hiking, reading, fossil hunting, and volunteering with local science and historical groups.
