Jena Hengstebeck serves as Ellis Porter’s Director of Operations and Administration, supporting the firm’s legal operations, technology administration, and data privacy compliance work. She helps strengthen the systems and processes behind the firm’s services, with a focus on secure information handling and an efficient, well-supported experience for all our Porters and clients. Jena brings responsiveness, professionalism, and close attention to detail to her work, recognizing that strong internal support helps create a smoother and more informed client experience. Jena has been with Ellis Porter for almost 20 years, and in that time has worked in almost every part of the firm, working as a case manager, human resources, finance, IT, you name it – Jena has done it.

Before joining Ellis Porter, Jena managed the Contract Services division of a small dimensional and quality engineering firm in the automotive industry. In that role, she worked closely with Ellis Porter to support direct and contract employees pursuing employment-based visas and green cards. Listening to employees’ concerns and helping make a complex process easier to understand showed her the difference clear communication can make during an immigration journey.

Outside of work, Jena enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, and biking.
