Attorney

Kelsey Sloop is an Attorney at Ellis Porter, where she focuses on EB-2 National Interest Waiver, EB-1A, EB-1B, and O-1 matters. She works with researchers, scientists, and industry professionals across a range of technology fields. Kelsey brings an approachable, person-centered style to her work, pairing thorough communication and responsive service with clear, strategic guidance.

Before joining EP, Kelsey’s legal career focused on immigration services for migrant and seasonal farmworkers, asylum seekers, refugees, and individuals in removal proceedings. Her prior career in social work also included supporting unaccompanied minors and refugee foster youth. Those experiences reinforced her belief in the difference knowledgeable, caring representation can make for immigrant communities and continue to shape how she partners with clients.

Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and exploring the outdoors with her partner and dog.
