Senior Attorney

Chelsea Hemgude Zuzindlak is a Senior Attorney on Ellis Porter’s Green Card Services team. She focuses on employment-based permanent residence matters for clients across industries and is especially passionate about guiding clients whose immigration histories include Temporary Protected Status, asylum, or other humanitarian protections. Chelsea draws on a federal-litigation skill set to build a strong evidentiary record from initial filings through Requests for Evidence or Notices of Intent to Deny and uses FOIA requests when needed to inform strategy in complex cases.

Chelsea meets clients where they are. She provides practical, straightforward advice while helping clients understand the broader immigration system when context is useful, so clients know they are not alone in the process. Chelsea began her career as the sole Attorney Advisor to four immigration judges at the Detroit Immigration Court through the U.S. Department of Justice Attorney General’s Honors Program. Before joining EP, she managed a two-partner immigration firm focused on FOIA-based investigation, crimmigration analysis, removal defense, family- and humanitarian-based benefits, and naturalization.

Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys birding, traveling up north, reading cookbooks, and raising her sons.
