Megan Thomas is officially our Client Relations Coordinator. But she’s really so much more. She’s that upbeat and friendly voice you hear when you first call our offices. She advises new clients on which of our attorneys would be the best fit for their unique needs. She’s a Spanish interpreter/translator. And, for us, she’s part of the integral support team that simply makes it possible for us to stay on top of appointments, deadlines, and all things administrative.
Megan takes the time to engage with our clients and be as accommodating as possible. Her goal is to facilitate the best immigration outcome for our clients, something that she understands from personal experience.
A former language teacher, she lived abroad, married, and ultimately petitioned for her husband to emigrate from Costa Rica. Halfway through the application process, she knew she needed help. Yet after meeting with four other attorneys in the Detroit-Metro area, she was discouraged and worried. Megan contacted one more firm (you know where this story is headed, right?). You guessed it, it was Ellis Porter. She immediately recognized she had finally found the high-quality legal assistance that had alluded her. With the expertise of our team, Megan’s husband received his visa and joined Megan in Michigan. And did they live happily ever after? Well, actually, yes!
