Kristi Crawford fills a unique role as Ellis Porter’s Director of Legal Content, bridging the information gap between government agencies, attorneys, clients, and employers. While immigration law isn’t exactly known for being straightforward, it doesn’t have to be this way. Through instructive articles, news pieces, and infographics, Kristi exposes the magic behind the scenes, fostering a deeper understanding of the immigration process.
In addition to content development, Ellis Porter's healthcare clients get to leverage her legal expertise in the highly-specialized area of physician immigration. She loves providing analysis and guidance to doctors and their healthcare employers, and she is an active member of the International Medical Graduate Taskforce, educating and advocating for sensible healthcare-related immigration policy.
You could say that Kristi’s own immigrant experience was formed through the eyes of her husband, a cardiologist who arrived in America while his native Poland was still behind the Iron Curtain. Seeing this journey from “the other side” is an experience that continues to shape her approach to each new immigration challenge faced by her clients.
When it comes to something called Orangetheory, Kristi is a bit of a die-hard. Imagine the disappointment of EP team members learning that it has nothing to do with orange sherbet being delivered to the office. Kristi also enjoys some unusual hobbies including dressage (Google it) and downhill skiing. We only ask that she not bring either sets of boots to the office.
