Arvinder Ubhi is a Partner at Ellis Porter, where he helps early-stage and growth companies navigate U.S. expansion. His work includes E-2 visas, new-office L-1 petitions, and O-1 petitions for entrepreneurs. Arvinder works to understand both the individual’s and the business’s goals, then develop clear short-, medium-, and long-term immigration strategies. He approaches each engagement as a partner to the client, breaking down complex concepts into practical, actionable steps.

Arvinder’s perspective is informed by his own immigration journey. He moved from the United Kingdom to the United States as a student and later transitioned to an H-1B. He and his wife subsequently relocated to Canada before returning to the United Kingdom with their son. Those experiences navigating new countries alone and with family continue to shape his empathy for clients. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his kids, golfing, grilling, and attempting to go to the gym.
