Attorney

Aaron Kochenderfer is an attorney at Ellis Porter who focuses on employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, J-1, and TN classifications, as well as employment-based green card processes. He works primarily with clients in the health care sector and provides tailored, comprehensive guidance designed around each client’s specific circumstances and goals. Aaron begins with thoughtful, two-way conversations to understand the full picture before advising on options and strategy. He aims to make complex immigration laws and processes clear and manageable, while ensuring clients feel valued, heard, and supported throughout their matter.

Before joining Ellis Porter, Aaron spent more than five years practicing employment-based immigration and serving corporate clients. He was drawn to immigration law by the meaningful, lasting difference it can make for individuals, employers, and future generations. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking, exploring cities and their restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
