Allison
Hight

Attorney

Allison Hight is an attorney at Ellis Porter, where she focuses on high-skilled immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, including EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW), and O-1 petitions. She works with researchers and scientists and brings responsive, empathetic communication to every stage of the process. Allison takes time to understand each client’s individual circumstances and long-term immigration goals so they feel supported throughout their journey.

Prior to joining Ellis Porter, Allison practiced family and humanitarian immigration law for six years, including serving as the program director of an immigration nonprofit for two years.

Allison was drawn to immigration law after meeting and working with Dreamers in college and seeing the difference a legal advocate can make in someone’s life. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, crafting, running, and spending time with family. A light homesteader, she has planted nine fruiting trees, 20 berry bushes, and 300 square feet of vegetable garden space. She also looks forward to Sneak Zucchini onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day each August 8.
