Andrea
Lopez

Attorney

Andrea Lopez is an Attorney at Ellis Porter, where she focuses on individual and family immigration matters, including marriage-based green cards, family sponsorship, and naturalization. She is committed to helping clients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout a process that can be both complex and deeply personal. Andrea takes time to understand each client’s story, explain options in clear terms, and provide thoughtful advocacy tailored to their needs.

Before joining EP, Andrea practiced immigration law with a focus on removal defense, humanitarian relief, and family-based immigration matters. Representing individuals and families in high-stakes cases strengthened her commitment to careful preparation, compassionate counsel, and strategic advocacy. That experience continues to guide her work helping clients identify and pursue the best path forward.

Andrea immigrated to the United States from Mexico with her family when she was two years old. Growing up, she saw her parents work to build a life for their family, as well as the fear and uncertainty immigration raids created for families in her community. Those experiences continue to shape her commitment to compassionate, knowledgeable advocacy. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys coaching soccer, fitness and marathon training, and home remodeling projects. She is also a proud dog mom to a tiny Yorkie named Sirius Black.
