Hannah
Whaley

Hannah Whaley is an Attorney at Ellis Porter who focuses on employment-based immigration, with particular experience supporting PERM labor certification and EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship matters. She works closely with automotive, engineering, and technology companies, helping employers and foreign national professionals navigate complex immigration processes with clarity and confidence.

Before joining Ellis Porter, Hannah gained experience at both large and boutique immigration law firms. Her background includes a range of employment-based matters, including PERM, EB-1A, EB-2 National Interest Waiver, O-1, and L-1 cases. She approaches each matter with care, working to manage the details behind the scenes so clients feel informed, supported, and prepared throughout their immigration journey.

Hannah’s connection to immigration is personal. Her mother immigrated to the United States from Nigeria, and Hannah grew up helping with immigration applications for family members. That experience shaped her interest in immigration law and the importance of treating each client’s experience with kindness and empathy. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys running, baking, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
