Senior Attorney
Katie Fish is a Senior Attorney at Ellis Porter, where she focuses on fiancé(e) visas, marriage-based green cards, family sponsorship, petitions to remove conditions on permanent residency, and naturalization. She works with individuals and families, taking time to learn each client’s background and goals before identifying a practical, effective path forward. Katie is committed to helping clients understand the full context of their case and explains each process in clear, everyday terms.
Before joining EP in 2019, Katie spent over three years at a high-volume, full-service immigration firm in Ohio, where she worked on removal, detention, and family-based matters. Before law school, she taught English as a Second Language at the Hispanic American Council in Kalamazoo. Conversations with her students about their experiences coming to the United States left a lasting impression and helped solidify her commitment to immigration law.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, attending concerts, listening to audiobooks, and participating in book clubs.
