Ryan
Hart
Chief People Experience Officer
Ryan Hart serves as Ellis Porter’s Chief People Experience Officer, leading the firm’s People Experience function and helping shape an environment where Porters can do meaningful work in a way that feels clear, supportive, and aligned with EP’s values. His work spans culture, communication, compliance, and people support, with a focus on building systems and practices that strengthen the Porter experience and, in turn, the client experience. Ryan approaches People Experience as a strategic function grounded in kindness, empathy, consistency, and care.
Before joining Ellis Porter, Ryan spent more than 20 years working in human resources across manufacturing, professional sports, and immigration. That broad experience shaped his belief that when people are supported well, stronger teams and better service follow. His leadership has helped make EP a place where Porters feel seen, supported, and equipped to do their best work for immigrant communities.
Ryan’s connection to immigration work is both professional and personal. Years of working alongside immigrant employees and seeing the incredible difficulty they faced, along with his family’s immigration story from Norway and Ireland to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, continue to ground his work. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family, travel, cooking, and sports.
