Cheng
Attorney
Stanley Cheng is an Attorney at Ellis Porter, where he focuses on EB-1A, EB-1B, and EB-2 National Interest Waiver matters for researchers, scientists, postdoctoral scholars, and engineers. He helps clients understand their options and make informed decisions about strategies that align with their goals, the benefits a process can provide, and the risks and timelines involved.
Before joining Ellis Porter, Stanley spent three years working on high-skilled immigration petitions for clients in scientific and research fields. Earlier in his career, he worked with underserved communities on asylum-based matters and supported an Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic on U-visa cases. That range of experience informs his clear, practical approach to guiding clients through complex immigration processes.
Stanley’s work is also shaped by his family’s immigration story. His family came to the United States as restaurant workers on employment-based visas, and their determination to establish a home and support their family continues to inspire his service to clients pursuing similar goals. Outside of work, he enjoys writing, painting, and drawing.
