Xuemeng Fitch is an attorney at Ellis Porter, focused on adjustment of status applications through Form I-485. She works most often with researchers, scientists, and health care professionals pursuing employment-based immigration options. Xuemeng brings a direct, efficient, and client-centered approach to each matter, tailoring her communication to the client’s preferences while making complex immigration processes easier to understand. She works to ensure clients feel informed and confident throughout the permanent-residence process.

Before joining Ellis Porter, Xuemeng developed broad immigration-law experience at several leading immigration law firms, representing both corporate and individual clients in employment-based and family-based matters. Her experience includes immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, permanent-residence processes, and client-focused case strategy. She has also supported large-scale health care immigration initiatives, including work to bring hundreds of Filipino nurses to the United States for a large health care network.

Xuemeng grew up in Beijing and came to the United States for college at age 18. Her own journey from international student to immigrant and naturalized U.S. citizen gives her a personal understanding of the significance of the immigration process. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family and young children, pickleball, cooking, discovering new restaurants, and connecting with friends.
