Yara Zolotukhina serves as Ellis Porter’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing accounting operations, client financial services, and financial planning and analysis. She partners with the Managing Partners and Practice Leaders to align financial strategy with business priorities, strengthen decision-making, and support the firm’s mission to improve the immigration experience for employers and individuals.

Yara brings a collaborative, practical approach to her work. She translates complex financial and operational information into clear, actionable guidance so Porters can make confident decisions, and she develops solutions that support sustainable growth and long-term success. Before joining EP, Yara spent more than 20 years in finance and operations roles across professional services, global manufacturing, and mission-driven health care and membership organizations. Her experience includes leading finance, accounting, procurement, and enterprise operations teams, as well as helping global clients navigate complex business combinations.

An immigrant from Russia, Yara understands the uncertainty and anxiety of the immigration process firsthand. She values the opportunity to support a team of Porters committed to making that experience more positive. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, cooking and exploring food, autocross, skiing, mushroom foraging, card and board games, and building community. She has traveled to 36 countries and is always planning the next trip.
