Yihao Zhang is an attorney at Ellis Porter, where he focuses on family-based immigration matters, including marriage-based green cards, family sponsorship, K-1 fiancé(e) visas, I-751 petitions to remove conditions on residence, and N-400 Applications for Naturalization. He brings empathy and straightforward communication to each case, helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions during what can be a challenging time.
Before joining Ellis Porter, Yihao was an Attorney at a boutique Chicago-area immigration law firm, serving clients worldwide in family-based and humanitarian immigration matters. In addition to immigration, Yihao has practiced law across diverse practice areas including family law, criminal defense, and estate planning.
As an immigrant himself, Yihao understands the difficult journey many clients navigate and is committed to helping members of the immigration community work through the U.S. immigration system with care and clarity. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, taking road trips, watching comedy, and spending time with family. He is also a big fan of anything Bigfoot-related.
